Gynecomastia is a medical issue that causes excess glandular tissue and fat to accumulate in the male breasts. This results in the appearance of “man boobs,” which can be an embarrassing issue to deal with. Thankfully, there is a way to surgically correct the issue that does not require a lengthy recovery period afterward.

In order to correct gynecomastia, the excess tissue in the breasts must be surgically excised. This means that some small incisions will be made in the area. The size and pattern of these incisions will depend on the amount of tissue that needs to be removed.

After the male breast reduction procedure, you may notice some swelling and bruising in the area, along with temporary discomfort. These issues will subside after a few days, and you should be fully healed after about two weeks.
